Hey everybody,
just wanted to give you an update on where we’re at. We’ve spent the last two weeks working on the colour correct and sound mix at Red Lab. Thanks to Walt Biljan for making the film look like a million bucks. Sometimes I forget how much you can do in post production. Also want to thank David Gertsman for coming down to Toronto from Montreal for 2 crazy days and finishing up the sound mix with me. We didn’t get much sleep but we did come out of it with a great design and mix. It really brings the film to the next level.
Above is one of the 11 tracks that Christine Bougie composed for the film. Christine absolutely killed it. I hope you all like lap steel guitar. If you don’t then don’t bother coming to see the film. I’ve been listening to them none stop in my iPhone. I couldn’t be happier.
The only real thing left to do is add the credits. I’ve been going through my list again and again, making sure that no one’s been left out. So many people have helped make this possible. It was just under a year ago when we went to camera. So much has happened since then and I can’t wait to get it out into the world.
